Wildflower Bend Doula

Wildflower Bend Doula was founded in 2021 in recognition of the importance of doula care throughout the birthing and postpartum processes, with the hope of making doula care more accessible and widely available to birthers in Bend, Oregon and the surrounding towns of Central Oregon.
Meet the Doula
Sydney Goldstein
Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula + 200-hour Certified Yoga Instructor
Sydney is an international doula and yoga instructor. She believes in empowering each wombyn/birther to their wildflower selves through their own intuition, the strength of BEing, the sacredness of birth, and the vitality found in the relationship between mind, body and soul.
With an extensive background in childcare, and known to be a lover of children, a dear friend had asked Sydney to be a doula for her birth in 2019. At the time, having never heard of a doula before, this opened a world of possibilities and transformed her world, combining her passions into what became a clear life mission. The doula life found her, and she completed her official DONA birth doula workshop in February 2021 in Colorado. She completed her holistic postpartum doula training in November 2021. She has passionately worked in the birth and postpartum world since, supporting new mothers, babies, and families feel supported and loved in the transition to their new lives.
Introduced to yoga in the Dominican Republic in 2012, and taking a more in depth course in Thailand in 2015, Sydney’s life was transformed through the connection of body, mind and spirit in the practice of yoga. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in Hawai’i through Soul Ascension Healing Arts Yoga School in 2018. As an instructor, Sydney believes that each person can be guided back home to themselves through yoga, and is deeply honored to hold the space for each individuals process.
Sydney is a citizen of the world, having lived in Israel, Thailand, Costa Rica, and throughout the US, and currently resides in Bend, Oregon.
